Starting from Adilabad tribal areas and expanding across India, MotherNest is a public health infrastructure initiative by Sun Charitable Trust to create safe, hygienic, and private spaces for breastfeeding and infant care in high-footfall public locations.
Across hospitals, bus stands, railway stations, and other public places, mothers often face difficulty finding a dignified and secure environment to breastfeed infants. The absence of dedicated feeding spaces leads to discomfort, stress, and health challenges for both mothers and babies.
To address this critical gap, MotherNest Baby Feeding Rooms (Mother Pods) are designed as compact, purpose-built facilities that ensure privacy, comfort, and hygiene for maternal and infant care.
These facilities create a safe and supportive environment for maternal care in public spaces while strengthening women-friendly public infrastructure.
